STARMAN::::: An anthropologist from another galaxy, crash lands in the Arizona desert. He discovers that in many ways we are still very primitive. We still use currency and we still use buttons to close our shirts. We still use fossil fuels and we still make wars and we kill our own kind. We destroy things around us. We still don’t know where the center of the universe is. But we do have our good points as the Starman noted. We have apple pie, and blueberry pie and ice cream. He finds our species amazing in that we are at our best when things are at their worst. Starman told Jenny Hayden that what he will miss when he returns to his home is apple pie, blue berry pie, and ice cream. Earlier he gave Jenny Hayden a baby, a boy, and told her that the baby will know what to do with the little silver ball he gave her. In the video you’ll see the Starman, and Jenny Hayden, and also Wonder Woman (we like Wonder Woman) and Ayla from “Clan of the Cave Bear” and “The Valley Of Horses”. Jan Marie Auel wrote about Ayla as the one Woman who shaped the Destiny of the Human Race. And then it’s back to Jenny Hayden and Starman. My Judy also makes an appearance. We are constantly reminded through out our literature, in our movie media, and in our wisdom that we don’t have all the answers (some don’t even know the question yet), we don’t know every thing, we are not self sufficient even though we have scuba gear, we don’t own the earth, and we’re not alone. If we depend on positive science as our sole source of knowledge we will miss out on MANY truths in the world however we will never have a good metaphysics unless we have a good physics. That was drilled into my head by my philosophy teacher, Dr. David Boileau. I needed to write that down just in case he ever sees this video.
