My two favorite memories from the CMC:
1) Seeing two people get engaged on stage during the first Poetry Jam night I attended.
2) Getting told by Hendrik on my first day of volunteering: “You see this stapler? If you lose the password or leave it lying around, I will take this stapler and FUCKIN’ STAPLE YOU.”
Haha, oh CMC
My two favorite memories of the CMC:
1) The day the CMC opened in 1993, a comrade and I were concerned that Noam C. hadn’t had anything to eat, so we drove to his hotel room to pick up a fruit basket we had put there just in case. So I’m standing next to Noam, maybe the greatest thinker in the political world, holding this basket of fruit like a moron. And when I finally got the nerve to ask if he’d like one, he said he’d eaten already.
2) Painting our group’s banner.
